[Solved] Trigger Extension Output Problem

edited May 2014 in Troubleshooting
I built the LXR the other day and it sounds fantastic!

The problem I have is that on the trigger extension I am only getting a signal out of the first trigger.  From 2 to 7 there is no output.

As far as I can see everything looks OK but I obviously have a bad solder or part somewhere.  I'm hoping that because the first trigger out is working but the rest aren't that you'll be able to tell me where to check specifically for the bad solder/part.

have you installed ALL jumpers/bridges for s-trig/V-trig selection?
I had a few people that only installed it for the first output, but the selection is per channel.
without a jumper the channel won't work.
  • I'm almost ashamed to say that has solved it!  (Or almost, trigger two still isn't working but I can't be bothered to open it up again right now to see what I've done there).

If anyone does search the forum in future because they have this problem then here's a piece of advice: it's much easier to take the bottom off the assembled LXR than to go in from the top and have to take the whole thing apart.

Is there a way to set drum channels to just go to the external triggers?  Then I could trigger four sounds from the LXR and then the rest externally using the triggers.
  • you can set the volume of the voice to 0 if you want to only use the channel to trigger external gear.
