Noise problem

Hey all!
I have notice that a have noise problem in the lxr when i unplugged the usb cable from the computer/or the lxr. Is there is no cable, i can hear some elctronical noise, if the cable is plugged in the lxr AND the computer, everything is normal... I never heard that before... Do i need too check some soldering? Thanks

    I would have expected this to be the other way round. Normally USB is obnoxious for introducing ground loop noise.

    How do you power the LXR?
    Same outlet as the PC/soundcard/mixer?
    To what are the audio outs connected?

    I use the lxr on the same monitors as the PC, i unpluged the sound of the pc from the monitors and it works thanks!

    Ground loops are pretty annoying. I was having a similar issue and some combination of buying a slightly better power strip, getting a better audio cable, and moving the mixer plug to a different strip seems to have solved the problem (knocks on wood).

    hey i have a similar problem. i have noises but only when i plug usb to lxr in ableton live.if ableton is off the lxr sequencer doesn t work at all. i don't have those issues when midi cable only are plugged
