playing a track with a keyboard

hello guys, i was wondering how i could play notes on track 1 fpr exemple with my keyboard when a sequence is running. actually, when i play a note on my keyboard it play this note on everytracks

i have rudeog 0.28 firmware
i read this on rudeog github:

• Global midi channel setting. Affects recording notes from external gear, program change, and control change messages.
• Active voice control and recording. When a voice is active and notes
  are received on the global midi channel, they will be sent to the
  active voice, possibly recorded on the active voice, and echoed on the
  active voice's configured channel (all of this regardless of what
  channel the active voice is set to)

Did you try to change the channel midi of the track in the mix settings? Usually i mes with that when i get two track playing together. I use ableton arpegiator with a launchpad, but it's must be the same with a midi keyboard. Hope that's help you !

but i have another question, everytime i connect the LXR with usb to my computer there are some clics and disturbing noises (under ableton live) or it doesn t work at all (when live is off)

to follow up on @erwanone's comment: If the channel sent by your keyboard matches the "master" channel (global setting) and also matches one or more channels for different voices it will play on the active voice as well as those other voices.
As for the clicks, I think I've heard similiar. Not sure what it is.

it's ok , i can play a single track with the keyboard but it doesn't record anything even when record mode is on...
and the clicks with usb connection make it impossible to play with ableton live and lxr plugged on usb

As far as I remember, record mode will only record to the active track.

I dont hear click either when usb connected.

well, when it's plugged with usb , it seems to provoque a very short latence,. in fact the clics and sounds seem to be the same that when cpu is working too much ..........;
and is it possible to record keybord playing on a track?

@Whiteherbman I record my keyboard onto tracks all the time. I'm not sure what your settings are. Make sure your keyboard is transmitting on the same channel as the master channel set on the lxr, hit play to start the sequencer then hit rec, and start playing your keyboard.

you don't understand. i can play notes with my keyboard on a lonely track,while a sequence is runnig,  no probleme but when i put record on , i play notes , stop record and  push play......nothing cause it doesn't record anything!

Can you try turn your midi channel on each voice to 16, set your keyboard to channel 1, set your master midi channel on the LXR to 1 (in global settings) and then make sure you can still hear your LXR making noises when you play your keyboard (you should hear the active voice responding to the keyboard). If you can get this to work, you should be able to start sequencer, hit record (I assume your record light lights up right?) and then it should record to the active voice.
I am wondering if your keyboard is triggering a different voice than the active voice (record will only record on the active voice).

ok it works...my keyboard was on channel 2 so i could hear the notes on the track i wanted to (put on channel 2 to)and lxr master on 1....

I had the same problem with the new firmware, I can record notes only with firmware 27. With 33 I even cannot set midi ch for playing with the keyboard...

there is also a ground loop happening with USB. I dont even use it because of this.
