firmware .30 - Midi config question

Hi All,

Firstly a big wow on the LXR! such a great wee drum synth :) 
I've just spent my first weekend on it and I'm really impressed by its versatility.

Having read the old manual and the new updated notes on github, i do have a question concerning the best way to set it up with my rig at home (Ableton live 9.1 on OSX 10.9.2). I'm using sync-gen 2 pro to lock all my midi boxes using their thru ports. In the case of in/out only boxes, i switch the "out" to "thru" mode.

With the LXR, my ideal scenario would be Midi in port as midi in, Midi out port as "thru" and USB midi carrying my midi out signal... But i'm having  a tough time configuring it like that. 

From reading the forum, I see there are still issues with USB midi, any suggestions or tips to get me where I need to be?

    I think i answered the MIDI thru question in the other thread with the sync problems.

    Haha, I'm just glad there is nothing wrong with my little quirky drum machine! I don't even know how to wiki erwanone ;)
