I'll have to aks the guy from the synmag first if it would be ok to publish it. but since the mag just came out i'll probably have to wait a bit, since it's a rather long article about 8 pages and not just a small side artile
I am sure that if I had read it it would have been very interesting and informative, providing a cool insight into the man, his professional experience and his company ; )
nice. hopefully it will bring more attention to the lxr at least for the german speaking crowd. i like the synmag, but find it kind of expensive. (price is understandable - probably small print run compared to other mags etc.) i would love to read the interview online.
So, this is how engineers look like these days!? ;-)
Yes, I had thought that the LXR couldn't have come from nowhere - it's too good for a first try at electronic instruments. Now I know that you have a lot of background. :-)
Hope this nice article (the structure is a bit jumbled though) will help increase sales of your excellent machine!

haha! not all of them

Most what I learned at my previous job was more about the business side of things and stuff like sourcing components and getting PCBs made. I think you can't start to work in the music industry building synths if you don't already know a lot about it. In the end I think I started to build my first DIY projects and VSTs around 2001 (not completely sure, but around that time... maybe a little later) before I started to go to university. But it surely was helpfull to concentrate on synth stuff fulltime in the last job and to see some internals of professional products. It's just something completely different if you tinker along in your free time or if you have to work 40h a week on synths

Isn't the structure always jumbled in the synmag? *G* In the end It was just an email interview we did and I dug through some old pictures for the article. I'm quite surprised how big it turned out
would be interested to read that (in English) - have been curious about your work @ Sonic Core as I had a Pulsar card setup for a few years and was watching with interest the development of the Solaris synth (which looks like it is shipping now). Been out of the scene for a while (can't remember when I last logged into planetz :-)
Already read the interview 3 times, very entertaining, also because I picked it up at your house. The best part is of course where you opened the shop and then half an hour later all kits were sold. Was a lot of fun to read about the countdown on sequencer.de/forum as well!
