Which sample of your own do you use for transient?

So far, i put some 909 sample in y lxr but i'm not really happy with them in the transient mode. Which sample do you use? Why? I would like to get some ideas to get more inspired et put more possibilities in my LXR. Which type of sound couldn't be create with the lxr and would be helpfull in transient? Did you try to put some others sample that the drum sample (like synth, or others sound?)
