Been awhile but now I've got some time

edited December 2013 in General
Last time I was working on my LXR was to replace the USB plug.  Totally worked but I started having weird problems with the display.
After a minute or so of playing, the screen goes crazy with weird letters etc.  However, everything else is fine.  All the controls work otherwise.

What exactly am I looking for in terms of a short?  Would it be only around the display or is there a path from the display to the board connectors etc I should be following too?

Its just odd since it was working fine for months and it wasn't until after I fixed another problem that this started.  Also, not sure if this is related, bootloader hangs near the end (but it actually loads the firmware, it doesn't go to the "reboot now" screen.)

I reloaded the official firmware (minus the ability to load user samples) and it seemed to work fine for a bit longer, but when I left it alone it got messed up (maybe the screen saver triggered it)
  • SOLVED!

Unplugged the USB and LXR fully installed firmware.

    Everything works perfectly now.
