Hi all,
Just finished the build and before soldering in the display. I powered on the unit according to the instructions , hit start button and had the chaselight running fine for a bit with the start button pulsing. Then the Lxr froze (leds lit, but Gui non-responsive) Upon powercycling the unit again the chaselight wasn't running again.

I finished soldering the display in, inserted the sd card with firmware (0.23)and the Lxr boots up fine. Display is working too. Start button lights up when pressed, but no chaselight . When using the vel probability and select steps, all 16 Leds of the sequencer light up, so i cannot be the Leds.
All other button are working fine too as far as i can tell and bring up the different menus
Any idea what i can try?
Thanks in advance,
Mike

After a couple of power cycles the Lxr would start again and voltage was back to 4,96. ( never got the 5volt)
So next i installed the latest firmware which worked well and i got to the please reboot your device message.
Upon powercyling the unit froze imediately with most of the Leds lit. Start button wasn't working and display blank. Next powercycle it would start ok, and i got the chaselight going for about 5 seconds, before the display freaked and displayed all kinds of weird characters. Measured the Voltage and it was only 4,19 Volt.
On next start only a couple leds were lit and measured voltage was only 1,9 v. Wot!?
Hm, so it seems my problem could maybe just the power supply? I use the Psu of my Alesis Bitrman pedal that
Has the following specs: 9v ~ 0,83 A 7.47 VA. Shouldn't this work with the Lxr? Don't think the Psu is broken as it works fine with the alesis pedal. I'll dig for another power supply and will try that one of course.
Could the cause be something different? I'm bit worried that the measured Voltage of the Lxr varies between 1,9 volt and 4,96. Can anybody recommend a certain power supply known to work fine with the LXR?
Please report back if the problem re-appears.
I hope you did the continuity test between GND and +5V without beeping?
if the resistance is above 1 or 2k you should be fine.
