More intuitive clear functionality + bug in current implementation

I find the UI for the clear function to be counterintuitive, and a bit buggy...  There are some LCD display bugs that you can see if you press shift+copy and hold them while pressing a pattern button...  characters disappear from the LCD display.  I also don't really have a feel for what you have to do to actually clear a pattern/voice...  Sometimes they clear and sometimes they don't.  I don't think this is a bug, I think the current implementation is just a little counterintuitive and I'm not sure what exactly I should be doing to execute the clear.  Hitting the clear button again doesn't seem to work without exiting.

Actually, reading the manual again, I guess you're supposed to release the clear button, but keep holding the shift button while you click clear again to confirm.  That doesn't seem very intuitive to me.  Just my opinion though, so take it or leave it.

I think the clear function would be much more intuitive if it behaved more like the copy function:  Press and hold shift+copy and press a pattern button.  Pattern button flashes.  [track], [pattern], etc. can be selected while holding shift+copy.  Release shift+copy to exit without clearing.  Keep holding shift+copy and press the same pattern button again to confirm that you want to clear that pattern.

To clear voices, the same procedure should apply, but with shift+copy+voice button.  This way you wouldn't have to use the encoder to manually select whether you want to clear a pattern or a voice...  If you want to clear a pattern, hit a pattern button.  If you want to clear a voice, hit a voice button.  The only time you would need to use the encoder is to specify clearing automation tracks, I suppose, and maybe you could confirm that with the encoder button instead of clicking copy again.

This device is awesome, and I'm loving it so far.  Don't take these suggestions to be anything more than suggestions...  I'm not trying to be overly critical - it's definitely a great device.
