Hello Guys,
on sunday I finished my lxr (v2) without any problems. Thanks to Julian and his superb manual. After some playing with the lxd I found out that I can not save any just created drum sounds (or kits). No errors were shown with the (1GB FAT) SD Card installed after booting. The "Pattern Load" dialogue seems to work (the progress bar works). So I thought that there is something wrong with my SD Card. So I tried a 8 GB SDHC (Fat 32) Card and copied the supplied firmware and presets to the card. After inserting - no errors. But I can't load anything. So I tried to boot a firmware from the card. I switched off, keep the rotary enc. pressed and powered up the lxd. The bootloader screen appears, then the display stucks on "File n". After waiting for 3 minutes I shut down and powered up again. The lxd comes up like the first time I powered it up after building.
Sorry, I have no idea where to look for my trouble shooting. I searched on this forum but found out that no one had a similar problem.
Any suggestion?
(Sorry for my broken English)
Thank you!

- you can load kits/pattern from the 1GB card?
- what happens if you want to save to the 1GB card. progress bar is working. but when you load?
Are only the patterns make problems or can you load no kits as well?
- after loading a pattern, you have to manually select it, if the sequencer is running. this is so the playback of thwe current pattern is not interupted. load a pattern, go to performance page, and hit one of the 'pattern select' buttons to activate the loaded pattern.
- "File n" seems to be a formatting bug in the bootloader. this should read "File not found" and indicates either a missing "FIRMWARE.BIN" file on the SD card, or a not correctly formatted card. Do you have a mac
In use are a 8 GB SDHC.
- i can load kits
- i can´t save pattern, only this make problems!
- No progress bar is working
- Sometimes the rows are reversed...in first row is standing the pattern name and in the second row load/save
Should format the SDHC card? Or only delete the current files?
about the reversed lines.
I had this happen when I had a non-fitting PSU plug. Sometimes the lines were reversed when the LXR rebooted due to short power loss or was rapidly switched off and on. Never had it happen in normal operation.
it´s not a bug, it´s a feature!
but i think cause i don´t formated the card after buying there was anything wrong.
although there was written: fat32 formated.
the reserved lines...it happens no more again...maybe off an rapidly off/on. I use a 7,5V 600ma PSU.
