I had to build a test unit from batch 2 before sending out the kits.

    awww maaan - you are harsh critics!
    I never really understood the tantrum about cut first before soldering.
    It makes the build so much more difficult.
    I know it is supposed to impose stress on the solder joint, but if I don't like the look of the joint I just reflow it when the part is in place ;)

    If it weren´t because Batch 1 is batch 1 and I have a batch 1 I would be really jealous of the quality upgrades that batch 2 offers.

    most of the ones I got at the moment are withe on black. I had problems getting all the knobs for this batch. Even had to buy the encoder knobs at an expensive store since I could not find them on stock anywhere else :-/
