I finished my LXR now but during testing I found out that the Encoder on mine is not working properly:
It jumps between the current value and the +1 value back and forth when I use it. I can't set other values and getting the +1 value takes some time.
So my guess is that I have a faulty Encoder. I'm not sure how to test this other than trying a replacement. Btw. it's hard to desolder because it is so near to the MIDI jacks.
But what is the exact part number? The schematic says it's a Bourns PEC11 but that's a whole series. The PEC11R sub series looks similar (mounting) but only have metal shafts. The PEC12R series looks the same with plastic shafts. The assembly instructions say it has a switch plus 24 clickes plus a 25 mm shaft. It is obviously horizontally mounting with detents.
At Mouser it could be:
652-PEC11R-4225F-S24
or
652-PEC12R-4225F-S24
both unfortunately not in stock.

Are those the right ones?
