morphing value jump (potential bug?)

Selecting the morphing parameter with the endless encoder allows jumping from 255 directly to 0 when turning the encoder clockwise. 
Then, after crossing the value range, the encoder does not allow to jump backwards from 0 to 255 when rotating it anti clockwise.
It can be useful for quick morphing modulations with a poti and the encoder, but the behaviour does not seem consistent, i.e. if the encoder allow going from 255 right away to 0, it should operate the other way around as well, right?
Not sure if this is an intended feature...
