These are much better. There is nothing obvious bad, the solder joints look good by the first look. And the amount of solder used so far looks fair too. And as long as they are shiny it is a good sign that they are not cold joints...
I am a bit confused. When i download the file directly with a right-click it is about 25 kb. If i click on it and then select "view raw" it is downloaded with a size of 247 kb. Which one is the right size ? I do not like to brick my beloved LXR !
Unfortunately the focus of this picture was in the upper left corner, so the main area of your solder joints is pretty unsharp. I would like to ask for a better picture, so we can give you a statement.

The solder is perfect. Same brand is in use here. To the soldering station: i would recommed the cheapo version of this at Reichelt, costs approximately the half and not the shipping to Europe. And if you order this just order some replacement tips …
@Borfo: my caps fell right off, too. But electrician tape did the trick without any issue - you just have to check in which orientation your caps are tighter.

OK, next issue (not a real one):maybe i am too dumb, but in the manual is written that the Midi channel assignment is done in the global settings. I found really everything but not where to assign the midi channel. Can anyone help me out ?
