shruthi has midi right? no need for a io trigger extension. thats for analog drum machines, synths and modular synths which don't have midi. however, it does add resell value and could be handy in the future (if you're planning to buy other stuff)

Ok, I can see that. Would be more logical to have midi channel 1-16 followed by off (on position 17).
