This same problem has now creeped up again...I have great sync through MIDI, but none through USB. I've tried two cables now, and it seems like LXR just isn't sending or receiving through the port.

Can I just say I am in love with the record button? I've been recording rolls and then recording the tuning to come up with cool pitched percussion lines and bass lines.

Because of my earlier problems, the pins are not completely straight thus making a connection and holding the display on!

i had a lot of these 2x14 because they were cheap and will need to cut them, what did you use?Tiny thing but no big deal....one of my 2x13 female connectors was 2x14...I just sawed off one of the ends.

UPDATE: once I took it out of my lap and put it on a flat surface, the screen issues seemed to stop....I'm sure that an enclosure would make this a non-issue
