I suppose the logic that information like clock sent directly from the computer or soundcard via MIDI is stronger than through a hub first?

It was weird because it worked sometimes, and shows up in MIDI preferences in Ableton.

This same problem has now creeped up again...I have great sync through MIDI, but none through USB. I've tried two cables now, and it seems like LXR just isn't sending or receiving through the port. EDIT: It seems like it was due to being plugged…

Can I just say I am in love with the record button? I've been recording rolls and then recording the tuning to come up with cool pitched percussion lines and bass lines.

I like even just one pot to move the cursor and one to scroll so you could do it two handed...but using 3 or all 4 could be really nice too.

Is this editor still going to be a thing? I don't mind editing the drums by hand, but currently it's 3 feet from my computer, and I don't like getting up to change things

Maybe there is a way to piggyback the sounds and patterns together so that when you load #1, it loads the pattern and the sound associated to it. You can still browse preset sounds while playing, but I think I would want to do that less live than j…

SOLVED! I updated the firmware. I noticed though, now I can't just press play and start a pattern without running Ableton.

Because of my earlier problems, the pins are not completely straight thus making a connection and holding the display on! @dlyline I have turned it usidedown....although the screen stayed put, I almost lost a few buttons.

i had a lot of these 2x14 because they were cheap and will need to cut them, what did you use?Tiny thing but no big deal....one of my 2x13 female connectors was 2x14...I just sawed off one of the ends. exacto knife and brute force!

Yes, I pushed the screen too far down the pins...it was almost flush with the PCB. Thanks @micmacman

UPDATE: once I took it out of my lap and put it on a flat surface, the screen issues seemed to stop....I'm sure that an enclosure would make this a non-issue
